A show of work by recent RISD Alumni now living and working in New York City. Through furniture, objects, textiles, and images, “Material Matters” gathers 15 designers who center material repair, reclamation, and manipulation—acts of extension and transformation—as fundamental ethea for creating new work in today’s materially-congested world.
